古都西安生人，籍贯山西.大学本科学历.学士学位.毕业于西北师范学院美术系画专业，
擅长中国画人物.漫画、山水、动物.尤善画猴.以及漫画等.
我国专攻画猴的画家之一 ，他以中国画的笔墨，几十年画猴，
研究猴，画风漂逸，沉稳厚重，笔墨老到，意境高远、
细腻、生动、趣味无穷.丰富多彩，我有我法，法无定法，
自成一家。由传统中突破与创新，师法造化立足于自然，
承中囯笔墨的优良传统，以国画发展之意理，取笔墨当随时代之法，
走近生活，借鉴国外艺术、吸取广泛的审美经验。画猴风格独特，
其构图灵活多变，造形生动，笔墨技艺娴熟，功底深厚，几十载契而不舍，
章法层出不穷，以意境自然幽远为主，丰富画猴题材，与传统国画册水比有独到创新。
结合现实生活实际与意境，既概括简要又虚实相生，表达画家心中情感，设色和谐，
色感强烈，具新意，线条优美大方.深化画猴意境，其作品题材广泛，造型生动，
构图奇险多姿，笔墨洒脱豪放，充分形成了独特个人风格，并从现实生活中吸收营养，
立足于博大雄浑，凝重深沉.用心感悟自然，不限于自然本身固有的关系，
使物我之间形成一种超出客观的审美感受.以物在景中，景在心中，来求艺术精神之美.
设色大胆、鲜亮，浑厚中透出清丽。一者是对宇宙世界的宏观关注和哲学的思考，
又是对内心世界的微观探寻.及对传统文化精神内涵的进一步把握.

景仰传统力求创新，严守笔墨精神和学术品位。选定画猴为专攻，朝斯夕斯，孜孜不倦，精益求精，
终有成就。受时代变革精神的鼓舞.具有鲜明的时代特色.独具大家风范。
